UU ‘s 3rd Principle,

Let’s have open discussions on the 3rd Principle of Unitarian Universalism: “Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations.” Coffee and treats will be available throughout the hour. All are welcome.
UU’s 3rd Principle
Speaker: Mary Burpee
In this service, Mary will share her perspectives on acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth.
The Thin Veil (A mostly music service)
Speaker/Host: Jody Rendall
Cultures all over the world celebrate the Day of the Dead: that time when the veil between our world and the world of those who have gone before merge. We'll look at how so many cultures (throughout history) have similar events this time of year. The service will finish with a memorial celebration where people will be given the option of bringing photos and/or memorabilia of ancestors or deceased loved ones that they may share.

As a follow up to last week's "Thin Veil" service we'll be screening a wonderful family film (about 1 1/2 hrs in length) that touches upon some of the cultural celebrations we discussed.
